THE HISTORY OF CAC (VOC)

Christ Apostolich Church Vineyard of Comfort was Inauguration On October 12th 1997 after our Planter Prophet (Dr.) Kayode Samuel Abiara had received a clear direction from God to proceed to set up an assembly in Atlanta.

The main purpose of setting up an Assembly in Atlanta was to yield to our commitment to the great commission in Mark 16:15 that call on us to go into the world and preach the gospel to all. Our God-given ministry does not discriminate against anyone based on his or her religious or ethnic background. In obedience to the great commission of Jesus Christ, everyone should be soul winner to the kingdom.

Pastor D.O.Adenodi, (Zonal Chairman of Agbala Itura DCC USA) and members of Maryland Assembly made big sacrifices in the coordination of Monthly Revivals in Atlanta before the official take off of the Assembly.

The first Sunday service of the Church was held at the Wyndham garden Hotel in Buck head, Atlanta.

Pastor Z.O Oloba was appointed as the Pastor in charge of the Assembly and still remains in office till today.

After worshipping in her first location (Wyndham garden) for a few Weeks the Local Assembly moved to Comfort inn on Bufford Highway in 1997, thereafter moved again to 568 Ladonna Dr. in 1998. And in September 1999 the Church moved once again to 4901 S. Royal Atlanta Dr, Georgia. The Church remained at that location for seven years. Then in June 2006 the Assembly moved the place of worship once again to our present location - our Canaan Land (The City of Answered Prayer/Refuge for the wearied Souls), located on the 4 acre property at 1309 Stephenson Road, Lithonia Georgia.

The Church in her present location currently has plans to build a new Church building which will seat a minimum of 500-700 worshippers at a time and an ultra modern children Church center.

Our Planter

CAC Vineyard Of Comfort Planter (Prophet (Dr) Samuel Kayode Abiara) is the Chairman of Christ Apostolic Church (Agbala Itura) DCC Worldwide. He is the Director General of Christ International Evangelical Ministry (CIEM) and Chancellor of Christ International Divinity College (CINDICO) Erinmo, Osun State, Nigeria, an affiliate of Acadia University, Canada. Prophet Abiara , a minister divinely anointed by God for mass evangelism and the raising of dynamic soldiers for Christ , has been in the Ministry of preaching, teaching, and pastoring for over 40 years now. He is currently the General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic church Worldwide.

He has authored many books and God has helped him to spread the gospel across the nations, among which are Nigeria, Great Britain, America, Greece, and Canada. Prophet (Dr.) Abiara is married to Evangelist (Mrs.) Christiana Aduke Abiara who is a partner in propelling the wheel of the gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ. The marriage is blessed with divinely ordained children and grandchildren.

CAC Worldwide Tenets

    We in Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide believe:
  1. The divine inspiration and authority of the Holy Scriptures.
  2. The unity of the Godhead and the Trinity of the persons therein.
  3. The utter depravity of human nature, the necessity for Repentance and Regeneration and the Eternal Doom of the finally impenitent.
  4. The Virgin Birth, Sinless life, Atoning Death, Triumphant Resurrection, Ascension and Abiding Intercession of our Lord Jesus Christ; His Second Coming and Millennial Reign upon earth.
  5. Justification and Sanctification of the Believers through the-finished work of Christ.
  6. The Sacraments of Baptism by Immersion and of the Lord’s Supper.
  7. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit for Believers with signs following.
  8. Church Governing Council comprises of President, Superintendents, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Church Teachers and Elders/Deacons.
  9. The Nine Gifts of the Holy Spirit for the edification, exhortation and comfort of the Church which is the Body of Christ.
  10. The possibility of falling from Grace.
  11. The obligatory nature of Tithes and Offerings.
  12. Divine Healing through obedience to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ and Faith in His          name and merits of His blood for all sickness, disease and infirmities.
  13. Faith in God, the “Jehovah Jireh” to supply all financial needs.
